Pre-Wedd Photo Shoot in Jesmond Dene #2

A few months ago, I found myself at Jesmond Dene again for another pre-wedding photo shoot. The couple had been keen to have their photos taken at their wedding venue, but once the bride-to-be saw the photos from a previous shoot at Jesmond Dene, she wanted to go there.

So on another sunny day, I met the couple in Pet's Corner and we took a stroll along the Ouseburn.

I liked the reflection of the water on the arch of the bridge in this one...

...and the shape of the tree branches in this one.

Again, this couple don't like themselves in photos, so I just asked them to sit or stand in a comfortable pose, then let them have a chat with each other. Trying to ignore me as I tried as unobtrusively as possible to get some relaxed shots.

We used the old pavilion building which looks fairly scruffy but in black and white looks quite stylised.

You'll notice that neither of the couple are looking at the camera in any of these shots. I don't mind that. The couple didn't mind that. The ones that they chose, they weren't looking at the camera.

I'm looking forward to the wedding day, and hopefully the bride and groom-to-be are feeling a little more relaxed about having their photo taken on the day.
